Congratulations! We made it out of summer. Although it was still 92 degrees yesterday it wasn't that stifling, oppressive, Texas heat we've all come to know and love. Looking forward to a little cooler weather to get started on some more projects that get sidelined when it's miserably hot.
Things happening this month: My oldest Grandson is getting married in Houston this weekend so we are going to road trip down and get in on that. I'm going to lay the rope out for their knot tying ceremony, so that should be cool. I'm still not entirely sure what all that entails so the goal is to "knot" make an idiot out of myself in front of a bunch of people.
Another thing to look forward to is only one more month till the election, I don't really care who wins. My only comment is that if these are the best two people we can find to run the country we are in sad shape.
We are working in the office on Mondays and teleworking for the rest of the week. Company leadership decided in order to collaborate better we needed to be at the office three days a week. That didn't work because the company we contract for didn't have seating for everybody for three days so they opted for one day. Not entirely sure I see the wisdom of that but I'm also not sure I need to. I enjoy the early morning drive, the afternoon drive not so much because more bad Texas drivers are on the road.
October is my favorite month of the year, it starts to cool down, only a couple more lawn mows, Halloween, it doesn't get better. I'm hoping to do some more videos for my YouTube channel and get a few more things accomplished.
